Clipping basics

The core ideas: what clipping is and how a campaign works.

What does Ranked Clipping do?

We run managed clipping campaigns. You give us one video you own, creators in our network cut it into many short clips, and those clips are posted on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. We review every clip and report on verified views.

What is a clipping campaign?

A clipping campaign turns one piece of long-form content, such as a podcast, interview, stream, song or product demo, into many short clips posted from many creator accounts. The rules are agreed before anything is posted, every post is reviewed, and only approved posts count toward your views.

What does "clipping" mean?

Clipping means pulling the best moments out of longer content and repackaging them with a strong hook, captions and pacing built for vertical video feeds. The word can describe the process or the finished short videos.

Why post from many accounts instead of one?

Every clip is its own chance to be picked up by a feed. Different creators try different hooks and angles, and the clips reach people who do not follow your own account.

Pricing and budget

What a campaign costs and where the money goes.

What do you charge?

We charge 30% of your campaign budget, and the other 70% goes fully to clippers. For example, on a $10,000 budget, $3,000 is our agency fee and $7,000 goes to clippers.

What is the minimum budget?

Campaigns start at $5,000. We agree on a target budget with you on the free strategy call.

How many views can my budget get?

Use the campaign budget calculator to see a projected range for any budget from $5,000. The ranges are estimates, not promises, and we confirm a realistic range with you on the call.

Do I pay for rejected posts?

No. Posts that break your campaign rules are rejected and their views do not count toward your campaign.

Campaign setup and results

How a campaign runs and what to expect.

How does a campaign work from start to finish?

There are four steps. First a free strategy call, then asset and content mapping, then multi-distribution across our creator network, and finally live tracking with updates twice a week.

See the four steps

What do I need to get started?

Video content you own the rights to, an idea of your goals, and the platforms you want to run on. We work out the budget together on the call.

How will I know how my campaign is doing?

We update you twice a week on your budget, your views and the clips that have been posted.

Which platforms do you post on?

TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

How fast can a campaign launch?

It depends on how ready your source video and approvals are. We confirm launch timing with you on the free strategy call.

Do you guarantee a number of views?

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee views. We give you a projected range, review every clip, and report on verified views so you can check the results yourself.

What makes a campaign perform well?

Strong source content, a clear brief, consistent execution by clippers and enough distribution. Results still depend on your content and how audiences respond.

Is clipping legal?

Clipping is generally fine when you own or have licensed the source content and follow each platform's rules, including any disclosure requirements. This is not legal advice, so check with a lawyer if you are unsure about your rights.

Clippers

For creators who want to work on campaigns.

What does a clipper do?

A clipper picks strong moments from approved source video, edits them for retention, writes captions and posts them within the campaign rules.

How do clippers get paid?

The 70% share of each campaign budget goes fully to clippers. Payout terms are set per campaign and shared before anyone posts.

How do I become a clipper?

Send us a message through the contact form and say you want to clip. We will tell you which campaigns are open.
